This is something which I have not been good at (off late as I have seen a few more moons than you guys :-) :-)). One thing we can learn from Bollywood artists is that for at least 90% of the content of their shows they do not look at the books. It immediately increases the "showmanship" exponentially - because if you don't look at the book you start looking at the audience - communicating with them through your music.
Just my 2 cents advice from a perisu.
