Teaser 1

Composed by : Murali

After the PhD, I have been terribly busy with the post doc work. But somehow, the creative juices have flowed a little bit and I am working on a song right now. Udhaya has alreayd written the lyrics and Vidya and I may be singing it. This is just a skeleton of the prelude music. The Flute you hear is just a sketch of the lady's aalaap to be. The synthetic flute may sound weird though..

Really liked the percussion bit. Not able to get a good idea of the tune (the flute bit) to comment-song seekrama post pannunga! :)

  4. I like the percussion arrangement in this one. But the flute tone isnt going well with it. I think you should leave your Carnatic influence aside for this one and try something that goes well with the rhythm. Its a rocking pattern! :-)

Murali, Happy to meet you again..i heard the song 4 times..its very good..

    1. Percussion is perfect
    2. The note being played from 32nd to 35th second in this song can be raised to half or one note ahead(just a suggestion).
    3. Bass is totally missing. Can be added, it can increase the taste of your feel.

    4. Iraichal remove pannalaam..

Tune is very good..try to add veena here and there..it may increase the flow of feel..

sorry if i have suggested you more..But over all..its wonderful work Murali..keep rocking..

Murali...listened to this one too. Could not understand the music fully, but, you seem to have a good ear for rhythms as well. I liked the rhythm very much. Will be waiting to hear the complete song!
    Cheers,
