The movie may maadham had too many good songs with maargazi poove being the most popular. This song was another beautiful melody from Rehman soulfully rendered by JC and Chitra.
Sindhuja - with whom I had some of the most memorable discussions in music over the years - has sung this song with me. The song has more sangathis by Chitra than by Jayachandran and I sincerely believe Sindhuja has done a great job in rendering them. ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite songs composed by ARR. Both of you have done a wonderful job. You could increase the reverb a bit. I also felt that Sinduja was holding back a little. Anyway, enjoyed every bit. Keep it up :)

Kiran - I try my level best to sing songs in a style different from SPB, but I guess the influences are inevitable since my admiration for him shows up in some form or the other.

One of the best songs of ARR...The first few times I listened to this song i would only listen to Jaychandran..Just out of the world singing!

Murali:this Song suited you well.."En uyirai thirandhaal",and "Pesum baashai" sounded different..
Missed Jaychandran's wonderful expressions in "en imaiyai thirandhal"..On the whole u sounded nice!
