A spoof on Sachin
One of my good friends - Arun Vaidyanathan - who is a writer, director and a disgruntled fan of the Indian Cricket team, makes fun of Sachin Tendulkar in this hilarious spoof.
Positives: Good mimicry, Guy playing host was outstanding Negatives: Sachin speaking with South Indian accent - Veeerendra sehwag? Veeru or Virender would be more like what Sachin pronounces? Thats just an example. SI origin of the person playing Sachin is obvious Another negative is the script, which lets down the performers. Stale jokes(I have to act in many ads). I suggest the performer teams up with the creator of www.bosey.co.in for better scripts.
I know I am going to sound racist and I don't mean to, so my apology in advance, but why do I see a pattern of South Indian's not liking Sachin. Almost all the sport's writers Prem Panicker, S. Vaidynathan, Premchandran etc. are all south indian too. Just an observation.
Nice spoof !!!
ReplyDeleteGuys!
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be stupid not funny.
Nicely done but somehow I think one should not make fun of Sachin.
ReplyDeleteIts just a bad streak for the Indian team and making fun of a living legend is not amusing! --Vijay.
