Mridangam Legend - Palani Subramania Pillai

This year is the birth centenary of a mridangam legend, Palani Subramania Pillai. A website has been launched recently by Palani Subramania Pillai Trust. My good friend and music critic Ramachandran Mahadevan (writes under the pen name Lalitha ) requested that this information be made available through my blog.

Ram has penned a book on G. N. Balasubramanian and has also written several reviews on classical music and tamil history which are a must read for connoisseurs of history and music.
